Authentication

Catalog manufacturers use a company nameCode Bearer key. Print partners use a separate fulfillment token. See Print orders for that flow.

Catalog manufacturer keys

Every catalog request needs:

Authorization: Bearer vm_<nameCode>_<secret>
  • Keys are created in Vilomedia Admin → API for an ApiCompany with a unique nameCode.
  • The full token is shown once at issue time. Store it in your vault.
  • Rotate by issuing a new key, then revoking the old one.
  • Revoked or inactive companies get a generic 401.

Verify your key

GET/api/v1/me

Confirms company nameCode, support contacts, lifeline status, key label, and read scopes.

Print partners

Fulfillment uses print-partner auth, not vm_ nameCode keys. Details on the Print orders page.
